Hay Day Inc. was founded in December 1986 by Robert and Teresa Schickel. We began as a hay and straw brokerage company providing to Churchill Downs and to retail customers in the Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana metro area. Currently, we are a supplier to local training farms, small retail businesses, seeding companies and for land reclamation.
In 1990, Hay Day Inc. acquired 18 acres at the Lanesville, I64 Exit 113. With easy access and visibility from I64, a decision was made to expand our sales to include new and used farm equipment, construction equipment, and vehicle sales. We are a regional distributor for Steffen Systems providing top of the line bale accumulators, bale handlers and attachments to customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest. Also, we are a dealer for all brands of small line equipment distributed by ACI Distributors, ISCO Industries, Belco Resources, A&I Products and BaleSkiis. We also have an inventory of used agriculture and construction equipment that can be viewed on our website as well as some used trucks and trailers.
Hay Day now has online auctions throughout the year. This consignment auction allows consignors to market their used equipment locally, nationally and internationally.
